how to land on planet

Landing on a planet in Star Citizen requires a few additional steps compared to landing on a space station or ship. Here is a step-by-step guide to help you land on a planet:

  1. Fly to the planet you want to land on and enter its atmosphere. You can use the quantum drive to travel to the planet faster.
  2. Once you are within range, you will receive a notification on your screen indicating that you are entering a planet's atmosphere. It is recommended that you slow down your ship at this point to avoid crashing.
  3. Use your ship's scanning equipment to locate a landing zone. Some planets have designated landing zones, while others require you to find a suitable spot on your own.
  4. Approach the landing zone and prepare for landing. Make sure to adjust your altitude and speed accordingly.
  5. Request permission to land by opening your mobiGlas and selecting the "Comms" app icon, followed by "Air Traffic Control," and then "Request Landing."
  6. Wait for permission from Air Traffic Control, and follow any instructions they give you for landing on the planet.
  7. Once you have landed your ship, power it down to avoid attracting unwanted attention from other players or NPCs.

It is important to note that landing on a planet can be more challenging than landing in space due to the presence of gravity and other atmospheric conditions. Make sure to practice and familiarize yourself with your ship's controls before attempting to land on a planet.
